Amy Murdock is a seasoned planning professional and public sector strategist with over a decade of experience shaping policy, guiding development, and fostering regional growth across Northwestern Pennsylvania. As the Managing Member of r.plan, Amy leads initiatives that balance economic development with community needs, ensuring that planning decisions are both visionary and grounded.

Her career spans leadership roles in government, education, and nonprofit sectors, including her tenure as Director of Government Affairs at the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership and as Director of the Erie County Department of Planning and Community Development. Amy’s work has consistently focused on contract management, project planning, and intergovernmental collaboration—skills she’s honed through both practice and academic rigor.

Amy is known for her strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and ability to translate complex planning challenges into actionable solutions. Whether she’s guiding redevelopment projects, mentoring students, or shaping policy, Amy brings clarity, purpose, and a deep commitment to public service.
